Being only 10 miles from Carmarthenshire's coastline - PEMBREY, LLANSTEFFAN and not to mention DYLAN THOMAS'S FAMOUS BOATHOUSE AT LAUGHARNE it is the perfect place to explore some of Wales's hidden treasures. Walking, fishing, horse riding, cycling, castles, beaches, forests and theme parks, it is all within easy reach from Cwmhowell.

galleries and boutiques.
Coast and Beaches - Laugharne - Timeless seatown on fringes of Carmarthen Bay made famous by Dylan Thomas, Visit Dylan Thomas Boathouse Museum and view the old castle. Llanstephan and Ferryside are also picturesque beaches located about 30 mins drive away.
Pembrey Country Park: the second most-visited place in Wales, 202 hectares of dunes, forestry and parkland with Cefn Sidon offering one of the cleanest beaches in Wales.
